Traffic sign recognition
Video demonstrates the developed application for detection and recognition of traffic signs. The camera is placed in a moving vehicle and captures video of traffic scene. If a traffic sign is detected on an image, cropped image with its GPS position is stored to database.
Our main focus is to develop customized computer vision system based on the specific customer needs. Therefore almost every project starts with gathering specific image/video data. One of the most common tasks is to annotate (label) object of interest in data. For some projects this process can be very time consuming and as such, it can be considered as one of the bottlenecks when developing the computer vision system. For this reason we have developed annotation application which provides efficient way of fulfilling this task. The screenshot below shows an example of using the application for traffic sign annotation.
Annotated data viewer
Annotated data viewer is our another application which aims to accelerate processes related with annotated data. It provides all functionality needed for filtering, cleaning and validating annotated data. Furthermore, it contains advanced statistics and visualization functions which help to better understand the data.
ego lane detection
The video demonstrates real-time ego lane detection using uncalibrated mobile phone camera.
General method was developed for the purpose of drawn map vectorization. It automatically extracts infrastructure and converts it into the vector representation. Method can be customized for different cadastral maps, engineering drawings, etc.
Laser spot detection
The video demonstrates the developed algorithm of laser spot detection on the game inspired by the Duck Hunt game. The main goal is to shoot a duck by laser pointers. The game can be played by two players, since the detector of laser spot can detect two colours of laser beam - red and green.
